The Institute: The institute of management is a constituent institute of Nirma University, a statutory university established under Gujarat state act and recognized by the university grants commission (UGC) under section 2(f). The institute has been ranked among the top 15 private B-schools in the country by the leading B-School surveys
The Programme: The MBA programme (two-year residential) offers dual specialization in Finance, Marketing, OB&HR, IT, International Business and operations management. The programme emphasizes academic excellence, networking with the corporate world and personal development. Graduates of the programme have been placed in the leading corporate and placement record of the institute has been consistently 100 percent
Eligibility: A three-year bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Students appearing in the final examination of a bachelor’s degree can also apply
Admission process: The prospective candidates are required to take the common admission test (CAT) 2010 to be conducted by IIMs. Applicants are required to fill in the application form of the institute of management, Nirma university in addition to the CAT form, shortlisted candidates will be invited for personal interview and group discussion at select cities

The application form can be downloaded from website and submitted along with a demand draft of Rs 1500/-. Application form can also be directly obtained by cash or demand draft either from the institute or from different centers of IMS Learning Resource, TIME and select branches of Axis Bank from 08th September, 2010 onwards. Completed application forms should reach the office latest by 30th November, 2010
IMNU uses CAT scores as an input for the admission process. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in conduct of the programme
